WOW! If you didn’t attend the All Star Seminar on Saturday you missed a GREAT day in our district. I want to say THANK YOU to Lloyd Horadan for everything he did to pull things together and make our All Star Seminar a memorable event
for those in attendance. And THANK YOU to all the clubs that participated in bringing car loads of items to pack the truck! All the items were delivered to Broken Shackle Ranch!
There are two events coming up in August for our district. Rotary Leadership Institute on August 13, and the Georgia Rotary Student Conclave on August 26-28! Please visit the webpage to register for both events,
www.rotary6920.org and select the link on the calendar!
Don’t forget to check the spreadsheet at
http://www.rotary6920.org/award_system.php for the points your club can earn.
Information about the Centennial Million Dollar Dinner will be coming to you soon. Thank you to Frank Seaton for being our first Bequest Society new level to go toward our goal! And thank you to Todd Freesemann for being our first Major Donor to go toward
our goal! It was an amazing weekend to be a Rotarian!
We also raised a little money for CART at the seminar! The District Governor string (DG, DGE & DGN) matched the donations collected at lunch, bringing our total collected for CART this weekend to $824! Thank you for everyone who contributed to the CART buckets
on Saturday!
See you soon and don’t forget you can make a difference!
Pam
