YOU are making a difference in the Alzheimber’s battle!

For over 20 years, our District has been a GREAT supporter of Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust. (CART). As of this past May - the CART Fund has awarded OVER $6 MILLION via 39 Grants !! In fact, just in May - $600,000 was awarded!
YOU, as a Rotarian in our District - helped make that happen!!

And in fact: We raised $723.00 for CART on Saturday at the District Assembly! ($387 came from coins/soft money and amount was matched by the DG team of Hamsa, Margaret and Mike for a total of $723 contribution to CART)

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions!
Yours in Rotary Service -

My Rotary Story

Eliza Grace, 9 yr old daughter of Rotarian
Julia Wood at American Girl Place in Chicago

Through Rotary – we can save lives, even as we teach, inspire, and serve as a role model for our children Read on to be inspired by Macon Rotarian Julia Wood.

Julia wrote: Here’s my story. I’ve been a Rotarian of the Downtown Macon Club since 2005.

I attended the 2017 Rotary International Convention in Alanta, because I figured it was so close to home, I should make the most of the opportunity. Afterwards, I went home and told my husband and 9-year-old daughter about the money that was raised to help eradicate polio.

Two weeks after my experience at RI Convention, my daughter attended an American Girl themed summer camp….. To Read Julia’s Full story, CLICK HERE
