During the Reunion event you will have
full access to the Garden which includes magnificent displays of plant
life indigenous to our area. The Lou Glenn Children's Garden,
dramatically expands opportunities to engage children directly with
plants including places for kids to hide amongst grasses and willows,
and close encounters with carnivorous plants. The new Children's Garden will also
abound with opportunity for hands-on activity because the best learning
for children is accomplished through play. Additionally, the splash
fountain, is being expanded for more room to splash. If time
allows, you might experience The Gardens in Storza Woods, Skyline Gardens, and the
Fuqua Conservatory. Please take time to view the web site to
become more familiar with all the opportunities at Atlanta’s Beautiful
Botanical Garden.

The Fox Theatre is conveniently located in
downtown Atlanta near the Rotary International Convention site and RI
Convention hotels on historic Peachtree Street. The Fabulous Fox
Theatre is the anchor facility in the Fox Theatre Historic District of
Midtown Atlanta. This one a kind performing arts center is an exquisite
cultural arts venue loved by all who walk through its doors. The Fox
opened on Christmas Day in 1929 to a sold-out crowd, premiering Steamboat
Willie, Walt
Disney’s first cartoon starring Mickey Mouse. Architectural gems like
the Alhambra in Spain and Egypt’s Temple of Kharnak heavily influenced
the building’s elaborate and intensely ornate design. Bursting with
soaring domes, minarets and sweeping archways, the exterior of the
building gave way to stunning gold leaf details, sumptuous textiles and
exquisite trompe l’oeil art (an art technique that uses realistic
imagery to create optical illusions) inside. If you have never visited
the Fox this is your opportunity!!! I am sure you too will agree it is
indeed The Fabulous Fox Theatre.
